Two female suspects were able to forge and counterfeit two separate personal checks from the same victim from Acushnet, Ma. Both checks were cashed in the amount of $2,400 each at the Sovereign Bank in Somerville, Ma. on Highland Ave., and the second check was cashed in Mattapan on Blue Hill Ave.

The first female has been identified as Krystal Scott of Malden, Ma. and charges have been filed. Her accomplice has been identified as a Ms. Melisha Smith of Dorchester.
